People Are...

It's 3 in the morning, I am casually looking up concert dates for when Jeff Dunham comes to a city near me, and I happen upon a lovely little place called Videogum.com They have articles on Mr. Dunham -gasp- Joy, right? WRONG! I sit here and read until I seethe. People are...funny, to say the least. They don't like him. "-gasp- OMG, did he just sterotype a black guy, a Muslim? Did he just make fun of Barak Obama?" Yes, yes he did. ...It's not OKAY to make fun of The President? Oh, I'm sorry, you must not watch SNL During the, oh, 70s til now. Stereotyping has been a aprt of our culture for years, and even though people get offended, why are you getting offended? It's a JOKE! It's okay for you to laugh at some stupid idiot on youtube who just lost a sodding ball when he fell off his bloody skate board, but somebody makes a joke about a certain race and you go: "u cnt do that!" So, what are wrong with some of these puppets Jeff uses? Not a FREAKING thing, but I will amuse you and tell you why just because I want to rant because I've read everybody elses rant adn I need to rant too, dammit!

Walter

Walter is a War Veteran and a former Welder. He is married ( 47 Years ) and the happiest moment of his life was 48 years ago. Walter is crass, like an old granpda. Hell, my grandfather is so much like Walter it's not funny. Walter has been with Dunham forever, and he keeps getting better. He made the comment about Barak Obama on his new TV Show on Comedy Central. ( Which is slightly less funny than Jeff's stand up, which is disappointing. ) And people are going: "You can't do thaaat." Yes he can, it's called freedom of speech, plus, there's nothing wrong with it. It's funny. You can't say anything about the President anymore? Why? Is it wrong? We should be gentle? Alright, that's fine. But, let me tell you, if he was up there saying things about The Royal Family you'd be laughing your ASSES off. I would be to and I come from England. Doesn't bother me so, why should it bother you? Walter also pokes fun at the Middle East about premature detonations, but...nobody got pissed over that, except when Jeff brought a new face to his crowd.

Sweet Daddy D

Sweet Daddy D was first seen on Nation TV on Jeff Dunham's Comedy Central Special "Arguing With Myself" This is funny stuff, yet...is he sterotypical? The answer maybe yes, but...is that a reason to get mad? I don't think so. Sterotypes are all over the world and people who live in the South are always stereotyped as dumb rednecks with only a a few teeth, live in trailer parks, and marry their close relatives. ( Which we will discuss after we get finished with Sweet Daddy D ) Are people offended by that? No, look at Larry The Cable Guy. He's hilarious. But, he's offensive because he is black. Why? The hell if I know, oh, what, stereotyping, yes, of course. ...How many movies in out history Streotype this? ...A lot, lot, lot. But, because Mr. Dunham does it makes him a racist. *cough*doublestandard*cough*

Bubba J

Ah, Bubba J. Funny, yet...dumb? My guess, is that Bubba's from either Kentucky, Tennesse, Virginia, or perhaps even Alabama...maybe even Arkansas, but I'm leaning more toward Knoxville, TN. xD Anyhoo. I LOVE this guy, and so does my husband, who was raised in Kentucky. He loves beer, Nascar, guns, hunting, and married his wife who he met at a family reunion. I have no problem with Bubba J, and...oddly...nobody has anything to say about Bubba J. Why? Because he is White Trash and this is the most common stereotyping of all. Hm...it's okay to bash the white race, but not others? Oh, well. I find nothing wrong with Bubba J and neither do some politically correct people. *cough*doublestandard*cough*

Achmed The Dead Terrorist

"Good Evening, Infedels!" Achmed is hilarious and his videos on YouTube are one of the top most watched video on youtube and around the Internet. Yet, *gasp* he is offensive because....he is Muslim? No, he's not. Look on his ass, he's made in China. Jeff gets the most heat of Achmed, yet, he is obviously a new favourite of his cast of funny friends. He had a commerical Across the pond that was banned because it was pinned as a racial slur toward Muslims? ....Okay, not really sure what the big deal is there. Achmed is funny, rather, the skit for Achmed is funny. Jeff is a genius and though he does pick his jokes wisely, some people stil find this offensive. Okay, I'm sorry your mad at him making fun of Terrorists who want to come over here and BOMB our country again and kill more people for  Bin Laden. ...Please stand in line for a new sense of humor and Patriotism. he is also hated because Jeff has mentioned him a few times of not liking Jews. Uh, Achmed is a Terrorist, of course he doesn't like the Jews. ...DURR!

Peanut and Jose The Jalapeno on a Stick

Peanut and Jose are the most common of Jeff's acts. He used them both when he was first starting out and they come on stage at the same time. Peanut, however, is slightly more offensive than most of Jeff's "dolls" because Peanut is his outlet. Peanut is crazy and acts like 99.9% of the time he's had too much Star Bucks or on Speed. And Jose is...well, Mexican, Cuban, or Puerto Rican ( Jeff can't make up his mind, lol ) Peanut uses every offensive joke to making fun of gay people to poking fun at every race he possibly can...and Jeff. Jeff makes fun of himself, a lot, and his family ( though he is apparently in the middle of a divorce ) along with everybody on the face of this Earth. Peanut constantly pokes fun at Jose for his thick Spanish Accent, which can be hilarios to some people but others...once again, offends.

What is the point of all of this? I might not have made sense, but a rant never does. I just like to say that once again *cough*doublestandards*cough*  everybody has a right to their own sense of humor. If you don't like him, don't watch him. You have opinions, everybody does, but...attacking a Comedian  who has the only intention of making us laugh and has never meant to upset anybody or is a bigot is wrong. Find something else to attack or whine about. Like...the government. :D

Jeff has another Dummy which I have not commented on, and that is Melvin The Super Hero. :) He's funny too, but...apparently there is nothing "wrong" with him. Hmm.

When it Rains. . .

Sickness is a part of life. I learned this at a very early age. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the age of 15, along with Anemia which I suffered with until I was 18. I had surgery done, but I rarely have flares. I am holding onto my healing from God, because I have to believe I am healed.

My husband is a Diabetic, he has High Cholestrol and high Blood Pressure. He has Neropathy already in his feet, and was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis last year, which now they have changed it to Hyper Coagulation. This means his blood is more thick than a normal persons. This has caused two blood clots within a year to date.

I love him very dearly, but most of his sickness is genetic. This makes me worry for my daughter. Will she have these problems? Is Crohn's genetic? They really have no idea what causes Crohn's, that I know of, but only one another member in my family has is. This worries me and I try not to worry.

I want my daughter ( and any other children I have, IF I can have them ) to be healthy. I don't want any of these sicknesses ( what some would call generational curses ) to be passed to her. My husband is miserable lately. We just spent SIX DAYS at Pineville Community Hospital, and he is getting discouraged. I don't know if he'll be allowed to go back to work, which makes me wonder if I should go back. He clearly has enough problems to draw his disability, but is this bad?

I don't know. When I lived with my mother, along with my sister, she drew Welfare, but we had to. I draw foodstamps, and have a medical card. But, we need it. Most people in this state get what they want if they don't need it with a snap of a finger, however, those in need never do.

I am just beside myself tonight. Glad to home, but worried for my family and it's well-being. God listens, but sometimes...He takes too long to answer prayers. ( Not really, He answeres on His own time which is perfect, though sometimes I think He waits to see how persistent and serious we are )I just want everything to be okay.

Our government is so screwed up now because of the idiots who run this country ( sure, I'm half British, but I am a patriot of BOTH countries. )
it's getting harder to get medical help. Everything is Changing just like he promised, but not for the good. It's going down in a spiral. Too many people who need help, aren't getting it. It's been that way for some time, but now it is worse. I just hope God works everything out soon, because I am physically and mentally tired of the hassle of sickness. If I ever see another hospital or somebody getting sick...it'll be too soon.

Ever have one of those weeks?

My life has been disastrous since Thursday. I got very sick. Possibly food poisoning from a local restaurant. Got over it where I could actually stomach the smell of certain foods ( Mustard, Bologna, frying oil in the fry daddy ) and a tooth ache ensues. It started monday evening, lasted until tuesday night. ( By the way, for the absolute PAINFUL toothaches, Anbesol is sodding trash! Didn't work at all, just to numb my mouth. )

So, three doses of tylenol later, it still hurts, until the tylenol kicks in. So far, the pain has subsided, as long as I avoid to chew on the left side of my mouth. -_-; I don't have toothaches of this magnitude. I usually have a little ache around the afternoon, put some meds on it and lay down for a nap and it's gone. But this is absolutely ridculous. I refuse to go to the dentist because those so called "nurses" he has.

They are always rude, and they scrub my teeth so hard until they make them bleed just to say I "need to take better care of my teeth." I do! I brush three times a day, floss, use bleeding listerine. Stupid bints. Make them sit down in the chair and I'll clean their teeth! Blarg.

Nothing Better

I want this so bad, sure, I have 360, but I will eventually give in and get a PS3, but a PSP is what I want because of FF: Dissidia. This is a GENIUS game. Main characters and bosses from FF1 - FF10, this is brilliant.

I adore it, the graphics, the gameplay, is bloody great. I'm just so in awe with this, though knowing me, I might get lucky and get one. But, I love it. I've not played it but watching it and reading about it makes me go all giddy. xD

I just...fancy this. I always have when it came to Final Fantasy. I know, but why blog this? Well, I don't have anything going on right now, other than the fact I LOATHE my husband's work place right now, he goes in from 12am - 6am and this is bloody killing me, socially. So, I get online, do what I do, and look up videos or stuff I want and can't have. xD Sure, it sounds depressing, but...it makes me happy. This game is worthy playing if your a FF fan and even if you're not, so, I can only sit back, watch and wait for my turn to play this. Until then, I'll bask in the older games of the series and await my PSP...and impatiently wait for FFXIII to come on out.

Pissing Me Off!

Today has been the absolute most boringest bloody day ever. Went out, the hubby bitched at his sister, which by the way is dozy cow. We've been trying to move out of thise Godless apartment for two years and still, no such sodding luck.

I m sitting home alone, because Kroger has changed my husbands schedule, and I am refusing to wash dishes. but, I might end up doing those to keep me preoccupied when I do get sleepy. I can't sleep, never could in an empyt home. Nana has Bekah, so I can't sneak her into the bedroom, so here I sit, forcing insomia and so lonely I could burst into tears.

Hopefully, it will get better, because tonight has been the Ubersuck.

Worlds of Wonders

I have a few addictions, but I like games. It's an escape to me, along with other things I do, role-playing and whatnot. I'm a mother of one, which she's a handful anyway and when she's asleep or I have a break thanks to nana, and when the hubby is not home, I fade away into the World of Albion ( Fable II, 360. Bravo for a game with an all English cast and feel of Medeival England! ), or I'm in the realm of Final Fantasies ( IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2 XII ). Or, I might go into Jade Empire, which is an awesome game.

Occasionally it's not all save the girl, save the world ( since there are very few RPGs with female leads, there are some. Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy X- 2 ), some have an option where you can choose to be female. Fable II, Jade Empire, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I & II. I like the horror/survival genre. Resident Evil. Which 3, oddly enough, is based around Jill Valentine, and Code Veronica has Claire Redfield, and the very first you could play as Jill Valentine. If you have not played these, do so. Those with PS2's can check out Resident Evil 1-4, 4 is highly recommended cuz Leon rocks. Also, for those with 360's and PS3's, Resident Evil 5 is a must have.

I like the occasional fighting games. Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, KOF. I don't get a lot of time to play, but I try all the same. On the other half, I do online rpgs with friends I've had for going on 13 years. We're very tight knit and are into up for everything. The Hubby's slowing beginning to understand how I am, and let's me slide when I do not do the occasional housework, lol.

I love games, not all, but most. RPGs are my favourite and what was able to lead me to my friends I have now. Which, leads me to my next point! Girls can be gamers too, if not, more adamant about them then bloody lads.

Okay, my first blog. I have some friends who have blogs, so I thought, what the bloody hell? Better than any kind of sodding online journal, besides, I read some blogs and I fancy it So, this is my first post. This will be mostly about things I find that are absolutely a neccessity to post, but then again, everything is important to me, lol. Also, I'm a hxrdcxre gamer, so, anything that comes up I find is worth posting, I will!
